The QLaw Foundation Legal Clinic Committee is exploring the creation of a legal clinic along the Neighborhood Legal Clinic Model, which provides a half hour to an hour of free legal services, regardless of income. The goal of the Legal Clinic Committee is to be able to start having monthly legal clinics starting in 2009. The legal clinic will be staffed by volunteer attorneys and support staff who are knowledgeable in the law and how it intersects with the lives of LGBT people, in their relationships, in their gender identities, in dealing with discrimination in the workplace, housing, schools, etc.
